About Adam Dunn

Adam Dunn is licensed to practice law in Florida and has extensive trial experience. He graduated in the top third of his law school class and furthered his studies in law with an advanced Masters of Laws (LLM) in International Business Law from Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. While completing his Master of Laws program, he was awarded a competitive research grant and wrote his master’s thesis at the renowned Oxford University in England and Max Planck Intellectual Property Institute in Munich, Germany.

While in law school, Mr. Dunn obtained a prestigious fellowship in Sarajevo, Bosnia Herzegovina assisting in the defense of alleged war criminals stemming from the civil war of the 1990s. In this capacity, he tenaciously fought for his clients in court and assisted with the drafting of memorandum of law to the European Court of Human Rights and the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mr. Dunn started his criminal legal career at the 12th Judicial Circuit Public Defender Office serving Sarasota, Manatee and DeSoto counties. During this time, he handled thousands of criminal cases. He has assisted in the defense of a client accused of Second-Degree murder, in addition to being the lead attorney on cases ranging from Second-Degree Felonies to Second Degree Misdemeanors, as well as traffic citations. Mr. Dunn has successful resolutions in, amongst others, DUI, Murder, Violation of Injunction and Crimes of Violence cases. Mr. Dunn also is well-versed in defending traffic cases. Further, Mr. Dunn is very familiar with the personal injury world, having worked for a period of time at a personal injury defense firm, where he advocated for clients who often were incapable of defending themselves from the predatory practices of insurance companies. Having worked as a claims adjuster prior to going to law school, he is very familiar with the insurance companies, from the inside out. This is key to knowing all the tricks the insurance companies play. Mr. Dunn makes it his priority to make sure that each client is treated fairly, while getting just compensation for personal injuries.
